It's almost awful to see people who obviously care about him give him such good logical advice and he's just all "LOLZ tried forgiving my enemies for two years now!" 1. She makes that page "friends only" and tells her friends who will post public copies (because that's how they play) that if they have any honor, they'll provide a working link to my response.

2. She makes "friends only" all pages where she claims that she was outed.

If she does not, I will assume she has no true desire for pseudonymity and act accordingly.

I'm making sure anyone may reply to this post. I'll wait a week for a decision. I may wait longer, but I won't wait forever. It's time to make an end of this.

God knows what he's ACTUALLY going to try to do, Googlebomb? Take out billboards that say "(REAL NAME) IS COFFEEANDINK"? Think up a fireworks display like the ones in the old cartoons that used to spell out "Eat At Joe's"?

What's horribly creepy is how angry and obsessive he is, YEARS later. I've always thought he was just completely outraged that she would warn people NOT to engage with him, because he obviously thrives on internet attention and shit-stirring. I mean, if you look at that original post of hers, it just basically says "DO NOT ENGAGE" with a bunch of (now-defunct) links to some of his more batshit moments.

It just seems like he's doing this only to harass her. I hope she isn't looking.

I am starting to think he's having some sort of mental breakdown. This sort of behavior just goes beyond troll and into something I don't feel capable of classifying.

If that's collapsing, he's distressed about it to the point where it's seriously affecting his behaviour, and all his angst is pinpointed on her because he can't stand the possibility (a) he's responsible for the downturn in career or (b) it was just bad luck...

I think he did, and timed this deliberately so he can do whatever he's planning and then claim afterward that it was coffeeandink's fault for not being around to do anything and relieve himself of all responsibility. Ur so brave Will!!!

My internet armchair psychiatry, let me show you it.

The one time I witnesses such obsession closely, the guy ended up voluntarily hospitalized for months, and is still very fragile year later, prone to stalking and carrying scary ideas ad absurdum. That was some scary shit and Sh!tterly is ringing all sorts of alarm bells for me.

I wonder if his Shadow Unit fellow writers are going to throw him under the bus again. Then again, given they only did that when he was a total pariah and they quietly took him back less than six months later, guess not.

OH, GOD. That is so fucking triggery for me, I can't even tell you. Some of this shit is word for word what my own stalker said to me several years ago. And THAT shit didn't stop until he was successfully criminally prosecuted (for breaking the restraining order I got against him). Fucking CREEPY. I'm puzzled about what exactly he thinks he can sue Coffeeandink for. She doesn't seem to have done anything sueble to me. I mean...even in the latest comments, some suggests he looks into C&D letters, and he replies "Anyway, advice noted, especially the C&D letter, which may be necessary if they escalate things." Cease and desist...what?

The people advising Shetterly to get a lawyer to talk to are definitely being sensible, though. If he gets a good lawyer, they'll be able to explain why he shouldn't go on with a case. He might listen to them.
